Unions Turn Hostile to Carbon Tax

April 18 (Bloomberg) -- Australia’s economy needs to introduce a price on carbon to protect its prosperity, Treasurer Wayne Swan said as labor unions threatened to oppose the government’s plan over concerns it will cost jobs.
