Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], April 15 (ANI): Congress MLA and Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Leader of Opposition Tikaram July said that the Union Government is misusing the ED, CBI and Income Tax.

July was speaking on the the ED raid which was carried out at former Rajasthan minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas' residence on Tuesday morning. He said that the terror which is being created by ED in the country is wrong.
'The way the Government of India is misusing ED, Income Tax, CBI. You just saw that a question was raised in the Lok Sabha that how many actions were taken by ED, in which 193 actions were taken by ED against opposition leaders, out of which challan was presented against 2. They take such action against the leaders of opposition parties who speak against them... The way ED has created terror in the whole country is wrong ...', Tikaram July told ANI.
Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials on Tuesday carried out a raid at the residence of former Rajasthan minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas in Jaipur's Civil Lines area.
Khachariyawas held the Transport portfolio in the previous Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government. Reacting to the ED raid at his residence, the Congress leader said he is cooperating with the investigation and has nothing to hide.
'Today, they have come here to conduct searches and raids; they can do it. I am going to cooperate with them. ED is doing its work, and I will do my work. I believe the BJP should not do politics using the ED. Pratap Singh Khachariyawas is not scared of anyone. I was not given any notice from the ED. ED conducted raids here directly,' Pratap Khachariyawas said. (ANI)
